Enrollment and Registration

New Students to the District

  1. Create an account using this link with your preferred language choice.

  2. Complete the enrollment information that follows.

  3. An appointment will be scheduled through guidance only after that enrollment form is completed.

  4. Attend in-person appointment to verify and provide vital records, proof of residency, etc. **You should wear a mask upon entering the building.

  5. Registration for courses will then be handled with guidance.

Powerschool Parent Portal (Student Grades) Help

PowerSchool Parent Portal provides real-time access to student grades and attendance. Due to the confidential nature of this information, parents can obtain a login and password for PowerSchool Parent Portal by contacting our Guidance office at 803-286-7068.Use the login information provided by the Guidance Department to create your account. Parents can set up one account for all their students in LCSD. Once in the portal, you can set your own parent login and password. Then add the student(s) information you receive from the school.

Contacting Teachers

Click on Staff Directory, click on the Department (ex. English) and click on the Email link to email each teacher. Teachers also have an email link on the first page of their webpage. To locate a specific teacher by name rather than by the subject they teach, access the Staff Directory on the homepage. Staff members are arranged in alphabetical order in the Staff Directory.

Locating Teacher Class Pages & Assignments

Click on Staff Directory, click on the Department (ex. English) and click on the Website link to go the teacher's web page. Choose the tab for your child's class (ie. English I Honors, 1st Block). Assignments are posted on the class calendar for each class. Students and Parents can subscribe to these using Google Calendars or any other Calendar program.

Subscribing to Class Calendars

Follow "Locating Class Pages" instructions above. To subscribe to the calendar events, click the + Google at the bottom of the calendar. ***You will need to do this for each of your child's teacher's class calendar pages***
